Benson Memorial UMC believes that children are a precious gift from God and have individual gifts to offer in the greater ministry of our church. It is the purpose of our kids’ ministry to help and support parents in the spiritual growth of their children through learning, playing, worshiping, serving, and fellowship.

At Benson Memorial, we love kids! From infants to elementary age, we have done our best to help your children have a blast while learning about Jesus.

Visiting us for the first time? No fear!  Cortney Babajtis, our Minister of Families and Outreach, can help you find just the right spot for your child in our church. If you have young children and are searching for a church family, she would love to talk to you today! We can't wait to meet you!

Volunteers and teachers are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Each leader who works with your child is screened with a background check and are regularly trained in CPR, first aid, and Safe Sanctuary procedures. Don't worry parents - we've got this!
